Feb Weekend in NOLA

Image
We spent Thurs-Monday in New Orleans for our annual trip with my mama. We've been going every year since 2007 I think. We never bring our kids for this trip and we really live it up. Michael loves New Orleans with a deep down passion. I love it too, and I think we do New Orleans really well. They all packed up and left that evening. I was so sad for them and for us as we didn't get more time to play, but I was happy with the visit as I really got some special time with all three kiddos and Marcie. The next morning we went to church as usual and then headed over to Suzy's for the superbowl. Suzy threw a lovely party with lots of delicious food and good friends. However, I have to say that the superbowl itself, was awful. The teams were uninspiring (Rams/Patriots) the scoring was record low, a
