Samuel is 10!

I never wrote up Sam's birthday post. We celebrated his birthday in two parts. The first was his birthday party at our local activity center. He invited several friends and had a great time. They did bumper cars, inflatables, laser tag and had pizza and apple pie. We ended the day with a sleepover with a friend. Michael was able to fly back into town in order to attend. We celebrated Samuel's real birthday in Port Aransas. Keith took Samuel and Davis and Michael and Kade fishing on his boat in the gulf. Sam was over the moon. That afternoon, we met the Rios's who were also vacationing in Port A at the beach for a bonfire and s'mores. We ended the evening with a movie and more pie!
Samuel is a very happy, healthy ten year old boy. He has a ton of friends. He was 68th percentile for height and 20th percentile for weight at his well check. He loves art and drawing. He loves to ride his scooter and play tennis. He is getting pretty good on the guitar and is hoping to start expanding his rock repertoire on the electric guitar. He is still shy and doesn't want to be the center of attention. He is still silly and messy and loves to make people laugh. He adores his puppy, Holly and still loves and cherishes "Baby" his stuffed dog. He is extremely empathetic and kind. Sam hates to do work and wants to play all the time. He is free with his cuddles and affection and loves every single holiday with extreme passion. Samuel is easy going and popular. He prefers NOT to brush his hair. He still LOVES plain bread. His favorite thing to do is play with friends. His favorite color is still red.
