Our new car!

We bought a new car yesterday. We have been looking and looking and doing tons of research. We wanted a slightly used car from 2012 that was smaller than our mini van, but still roomy and had good cargo. I initially wanted a CRV, but you can't get those slightly used at all. There were none to be had. So we looked and test drove and researched some more. I wanted a third row, but not enough to want another big SUV or minivan. I wanted something with a rearview camera, a V6 engine and lots of cargo space. We narrowed it down to a Subaru outback, a CRV, or a RAV4.
This weekend we sold our minivan to some good friends and that was wonderful. We had a down deposit in hand and were ready.
On Monday our friend in the business called and said he had found a car for us. It's a white 2012 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited with only 14,000 miles on it. We were sold! We drove up to get it on Tuesday. I love it so much. It is so much fun to drive. It has power, but a cushioned ride. It corners so well. I can't tell you how awesome it is. The kids and Michael love it too. We are thrilled with our new family car.

Congratulations on the new car! It definitely pays off to do as much research as possible when looking for a new car. There are a lot of factors to consider, especially when one has a family that they need to drive in the car. I think you found the perfect one. I’m glad your whole family really loves the car as well!

This SUV definitely has the potential to be the new soccer-mom-mobile :D Oh, and just a small piece of advice, try to lighten up your car-key’s keychain since the weight, combined with its bouncing while you drive, will wear out the tumblers inside the ignition and eventually lead to ignition switch failure. So let’s try to keep a separate keychain apart from the car-keys.:D

It looks like you had a great deal. :) It has a great color, and the kids love it too! Kudos! Remember that you can extend the life of your tires with careful driving. Observing posted speed limits and avoiding fast starts, abrupt stops, rapid turns, and potholes can help save and maintain your tires’ integrity.

Awesome ride! :D Be sure to keep tabs on your tires; don’t let them get worn out. Rotate the four tires whenever needed so that the ridges wouldn’t smoothen out.

Looks like you got a really great bargain! How’s the car now? Basically, don’t forget to do your routine maintenance, because that will help in prolonging you car’s service life.
